All material will remain confidential to the Judges. Details of the respective Winners and those Highly Commended will be published within HeavyTorques’ official event review proceeding the event.
Q: WHEN DOES THE JUDGING TAKE PLACE?
The judging will take place between July and August 2024.
Q: WHEN WILL THE SHORTLIST BE ANNOUNCED?
Those successfully shortlisted will be notified in August 2024.

The Heavies Awards 2024 will be held at New Dock Hall, adjacent to the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS10 1LT.
Q: HOW DO I ENTER?
Entries are completely free-of-charge. You may enter as many categories as you like.
Entries may be submitted for more than one category, and will be treated as an individual entry. However, you must supply a signed entry form against each entry.

Q: DOES MY PAPER HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED IN MICROSOFT WORD?
Whilst Microsoft Word documents are acceptable, we also welcome submissions in PDF format.Images to be supplied as jpgs (high resolution imagery preferably addressed via WeTransfer/Dropbox)
Q: CAN I ATTACH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND IF SO, HOW MANY?
There’s no limit to the amount of information you can provide. After all, a winning entry is one that’s carefully and meticulously thought out. Images must be high resolution, or equivalent to 300dpi. If you are considering supplying a large amount of supportive material, may we recommend that you address this via WeTransfer? (www.wetransfer.com)
Q: WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM FILE SIZE FOR MY SUBMISSION?
For the purposes of online entries, we must stipulate a restriction of 10mb per entry. However, additional information can be supplied via email to: email@example.com

Q: WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE AWARDS?
Black tie or lounge suit. Posh frocks for ladies.
Q: I HAVE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR AN AWARD, DO I NEED A TICKET?
All attendees must pre-book and pay for their tickets in advance.
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES A TABLE ACCOMMODATE? AND DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A FULL TABLE?
We can accommodate tables of 8, 10 or 12, though it is not necessary to purchase a full table. Individual seat bookings are also accepted.
Q: HOW CAN I PAY FOR SEATS?
Payments can be made by: cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit cards. (Please note: All card payments will incur a 2.5% handling and administration fee). Should you wish to make a credit or debit card payment, please call a member of the team on +44 (0) 845 1 700 300.
Q: WHO DO I NOTIFY IF ONE OF MY GUESTS HAS SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS OR A DISABILITY?
Prior to the event, joining instructions will be addressed to all attendees (individual seats/table bookings) requesting them to complete the provision of any dietary/special requirements. Simply complete and return the form as instructed. All joining instructions must be returned and received one week prior to the event. Thereafter charges may apply, although we cannot guarantee to accommodate specific guest requirements.
Q: CAN I ORDER ADDITIONAL DRINKS FOR MY TABLE?
All tables will be allocated the following package: 5 bottles of wine (a mixture of red/white) plus three bottles of mineral water. Additional drinks will be available from the serviced bar area.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
All cancellations must be received in writing. Should you wish to cancel on or before July 2024 – a full refund will be offered, less an administrative charge of 15%. Should you choose to cancel after 1st August 2024, no refund will be given. (Outstanding invoices due at that period will also require full payment).
In the event that The Heavies 2024 is cancelled, a full refund will be offered. However, we will not accept liability for travelling, accommodation or any other expenses incurred as a result. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
The event organiser (Nimble Publishing Limited) shall not be liable for cancellation or delay of the event due to causes beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event.
